The research question
An invented upward structure is pulling back toward a prior breakout area. Does that preserve a plausible continuation thesis, or is the structure changing? The conditional answer is to wait for a response at the area; the location alone is insufficient. No real market or subsequent outcome is being asserted.
Snapshot and diagram
Assume an illustrative one-hour context with higher swing lows and a return toward a contested zone. The drawing is original synthetic teaching data, without executable price levels. Only the information described at this snapshot belongs in the interpretation.
Supporting evidence and the opposing case
Higher swing lows preserve the upward backdrop, and the return to a prior breakout area gives a specific place to observe the response. Against that, overlapping recent candles suggest indecision. Reaching an area does not demonstrate decisive buying or rule out a deeper reversal. These observations carry different implications, not equal votes.
What would change the view
A sustained break below the relevant structural low would weaken the continuation thesis and require a fresh snapshot. A stronger response at the contested zone could support further investigation, but does not guarantee follow-through. The meaning of “sustained” must be specified for a real research horizon; this teaching case does not provide an order trigger.
Use the method on your own question
After access is enabled, ask the terminal to identify the current context, the strongest contrary evidence and the condition that would invalidate a continuation interpretation. Confirm the question before sending. The public case is a reasoning example, not a saved live report or a verified trading result.
